I was noticing that some of my apricots were drying out, I thought it was because I wasn’t giving them enough water. These plants need a lot of water, especially in summer. But there were still whole branches drying out.

I was talking to my mom about this and I told her that I thought maybe it was the sun heating up the edge of the tiles in front and burning my plants just like it did to the edge of the grass. Then she goes and says, “Oh no, that’s not the sun, they just put repellent on it to kill the weeds.”

Now I understand why my plants were dying.
