Why is this pretty chap – hanging with these swines of the garden

So II is my mortal enemy the stinker, however this year they seem to have been aided and abetted by this delightful looking thing I – white wings, triangular & a beautiful emerald colour . Are they accomplices or just wrong place at wrong time for our triangular friend ..?
