Where to begin?!

I’ve recently been blessed with a council property that has a garden, but it definitely needs some love. I’ve never had any green space before, and I’d really like to get it looking presentable—and give it the care it deserves!

As a complete novice, I have no idea where to start. I’d really appreciate any advice or beginner-friendly resources from others who started gardening from a similarly clueless place.
