Where did these berries come from? – Reddit Post

Hi there, I found this strange red berries (?) on the ground and I believe they came from this tree. PlantNet thinks my photos are of multiple species though, and this certainly isn’t a round-leaf dogwood. Is it a Pacific dogwood?
