What’s the easiest way to build a garden path? ~10m

I’ve recently had a summerhouse built at the end of the garden and would like to build a garden path that runs down the perimeter of the garden to the room.

I had to spend so long digging up the garden and laying the foundations for the summerhouse that I really don’t want to over-engineer the path, and make it as little work as possible.

I was thinking about laying down an eco-base style system on top of the lawn, and filling with gravel. Is this the best way to do it? Or is there an easier way?

The path won’t have a lot of traffic
