What plants can I put in a pot that’s likely to dry out on occasion?

I have an empty pot and the place I want to put it gets sun pretty much all day. It’ll be relying on me to water it a lot, but I don’t trust myself to be super consistent so I need a plant that’s going to he pretty tough. I usually go for flowers, but I don’t know if there’s any that will thrive in such conditions.

Any ideas?
