My physalis peruviana flower for a couple days , the petals fell off , the pollens fell off , the stigma fell off , and the thing left behind is not what i expected , i can see the fruit embryo developing inside but where is the papery husk ? , i grew it from a grecery store physalis that HAS a husk , but why don’t it’s baby have a husk too , or do the husks form after the fruit has been developing for a while ?
