What is this infestation and how can I separate these plants?

Hi, gardeners. I have a 2 part question about this pawpaw tree growing in a pot with a pineapple plant. 1. The pawpaw was thriving but recently is not doing too well. And it’s infested with some kind of eggs with a healthy smattering of ants all over it, too.

What are the eggs? Should I get rid of them, and if so, how? White oil or something?

I’d like to repot the pawpaw. How can I separate the two plants without killing either? Is that even possible?
