What are these things on my lawn?

Over the last few weeks we’ve had these things pop up in our front lawn. They kind of look like wheat? Not sure if they’re a type of weed or maybe it’s the grass going to seed? It grows so fast that when we mow the lawn every second week they’re almost 30cm tall. Any tips or ideas of how to get rid of them?
