Very sad Japonica boxus

These boxus look very sad (been there since 2017, so more than 5 years old), not sure what to do, been looking on the internet to find solutions, some mentioned iron deficiency, so today I just put some fertilizer, not sure if the leaves will turn green again. Been waiting for these boxus to form a fence.
