Two Questions: How would you use/ transform this space? And is it possible separate/ replant common snowberry?

1: Am considering getting an outdoor storage box and a compost bin. It’s my parent’s home in which I’m trying to tame the garden and don’t have much to spend or wanting to do drastic changes such as decking.

It’s a completely shaded area, would love to put down some potted plants to soften the grey asphalt. Any suggestions about what may thrive in shade?

2: my neighbours have two twin daughters who were immensely entertained by the snowberry plant on our side, but they couldn’t quite reach out for more when they plucked off all form their side. I was wondering if it is possible to separate the plant (I think we have multiple in one spot) and give it to my neighbours?
