Trees or vine recommendation for privacy

We have this privacy screen at home where we want to restrict the view even further. Not sure if vines or trees are the better option. Not looking for a quick fix, fine if it will take time to grow as it’s more for when we have kids down the track and blocking the view into the backyard.

If vines were the better option, should i be cautious of weight?
