Small tree to form arch over driveway

I have a driveway with a raised bed running next to it, locate in Melb. The bed is around 50cm from ground level on one side only and the other side is not plantable. I am looking for recommendations for a smallish tree that could be trained to form a loose arch or cover over the driveway. I plan to plant 3 or 4 in the bed to form something like half a tunnel with enough height to get a typical SUV or 4WD under it. Ideally it would be fairly hardy and not have a invasive root system which could damage the driveway. My only thought so far is a crepe myrtle. Please give me some more recommendations.
