Rosemary hasn’t grown a single new shoot or leaf since I got it. – Reddit Post

I got this from the nursery a month ago…It’s kept in full sun, I don’t water it too much. Water it like a succulent. It’s in a cocopeat and sand with slight soil mixed. Is it ok to add a little organic compost?Will that help it grow a little? A side branch has become crusty ashy for a while now. It hasn’t spread to other parts. (Picture no.3). Also the soil is sandy and dry at the moment.

This is my first year of gardening, I am trying my best to learn about herb care. I never grew rosemary before. Need some help as to how to keep this plant in healthy condition.
