‘Rescue Roses’ waking up
I have a bit of a thing about dying plants in supermarkets hate to see them dying from neglect and have picked up a few almost dead ‘indoor rose plants’ from sainsburies in the last year or two then planted them out in pots or beds.
They are coming to life so thought i would share some piccies of them!
Rescue Rose 1:- bought in sainsburies last year, looked half dead and was labelled ‘indoor rose plant’
This year has gone bananas and seriously regret not hard pruning it in early march, its taken over the small raised bed
Oh the red on the soil in the pictures, is a desperate attempt to give my plants a respite from the relentless tyranny of the local squirrel population (its cayenne).

Another ‘indoor rose’ that was on special at the beginning april and almost dead – not dramatic growth like the first but definitely happier than it was in sainsburies

All bought at the end of april, on special from morrisons, all were in terrible condition and reduced, no significant growth but definitely not dying anymore!
