Recommend your favourite flowers and plants for full shade area in the garden

As the title says, we have a south facing garden but due to tall trees growing at the end of the property a part of the garden has a lot of shade, currently the sun doesn’t reach this part of garden at all. Can you recommend any good plants that will enjoy full shade? We also want to plant a rhododendron in a part of that garden, do you think it will be happy there?
