Random plants between patio slabs

Somehow a strawberry seed managed to find its way between our patio slabs and established itself. Would it cause damage if I left it until next spring when I get around to tidying up our patio?

Ther are large-ish gaps (around 0.5cm) between the patio slabs (hence all the weed), what’s the best way to stop weed growing there once I removed all the weed/moss from them?

Also found 2 lettuce(?) plants on another part of the patio 😅
