Pruning tips

Hello gang, my lemon tree looks ever so sadder as the years go on, and it’s growth is stunted completely, few leaves here and there that get eaten.

Can anyone give me some tips on pruning the branches for new life? I think that’s the only way it may recover, run out of all other options.
