Postman’s trike leaving deep tracks in my front lawn (First-time homeowner) – QLD

Hi all, first-time homeowner here. I’m dealing with an issue where the postman’s trike is leaving increasingly visible trails on my front lawn strip near the mailbox.

I understand this is technically a public strip as it’s in front of my mailbox, and I can’t control exactly where the postman drives. But recently he’s created a second track, making the trails more noticeable.

The weird part is that on the other side of my lawn, the trail is much less visible despite he also drives over there.

I’ve already researched some lawn care posts on here and kept my grass cut taller as recommended. The second trail happened today right after I had cut my grass yesterday, which seems to have made the tracks even more prominent. The constant rain hasn’t helped with recovery either.

What’s the best way to repair these tracks? I considered filling the gaps with grass clippings, but I’m not sure if that’s effective. Has anyone successfully prevented mail carrier damage to their lawn?
