Pineapple plant fruiting after 3.5 years – Reddit Post

So I live in MD and 3.5 years ago I planted a pineapple plant grown from a store bought pineapple.

Every winter Petey the Pineapple (it’s like a pimp named slickback, gotta say the whole thing)was moved indoors in and put under a UV light, then back outside for summer. He’s finally fruiting!
