Opium poppy- weed or keeper?

I’ve got a bunch of these growing in my veg bed that in the past I’ve always weeded out but being poppies I was wondering if they are worth moving and keeping? Can anyone with experience tell me about them- flower colour, length of flowering, ease of moving, how freely they seed etc. Papaver somniferum to be precise. Ta!
