My grandfather, bless him, mowed over my watermelon plants around mid season here in Pennsylvania. I let them go to see if they’d recover and I am absolutely thrilled that they did. This was the sweetest watermelon any of us have ever had! Truly the best I’ve grown yet. Hoping the second is just as good.
