Mini (and I mean mini) wildlife pond

Got inspired by some mini ponds I saw online. Used a 50cm diameter pot, dug a hole and added some aquarium-friendly pebbles. Used some massive stones I dug out of the garden years ago (thanks Persimmon) to add layers and a way out for the critters. Planted it up with some pond plants from the garden centre, and chucked in some watercress as I’ve heard it helps suppress algae. Popped stones in the pots to keep the plants from floating off, and to give bees somewhere to land to get water.

Added a solar-powered air stone today to provide movement and aeration. Water cleared up nicely overnight despite some heavy rainfall.

We have a tiddly tiny garden so I’ve done what I can with the space we have. How did I do? Advice from pond pros very much welcome.
