Little Bibi Polygala Plant Yellowing from Bottom Up – Need Urgent Help to Save It
I have several Little Bibi Polygalas in my front yard, all in full sun and partial shade. Recently, however, the healthiest and densest one started turning yellow from the bottom up. Right now, about two-thirds of the plant has turned yellow, and only the top layer remains green, though it looks like all the stems are starting to die. All the plants receive the same amount of water, yet only this one is struggling.
Two recent changes may have impacted it:
a) High winds caused this plant to tilt slightly, but it didn’t uproot, just leaned a bit. I corrected its position, and the main stem feels solid in the ground.
b) A few days later, I planted some new plants in my backyard and the extra soil that I digged, I added some that extra, digged soil, around the base of all the Polygalas to help support them against wind and provide additional nutrients. However, within a few weeks, this particular plant started turning yellow from the bottom up.
Since noticing it turning yellow, I’ve applied 20ml of Seasol mixed in 2 liters of water twice, with a one-week interval, but the condition hasn’t improved yet.
Does anyone have advice on how to save it?
