only my second year gardening ever, living in Virginia. having to grow out of pots do to complete lack of maintenance of our yard even tho there’s a galore off space :,) and having to stick to pots but honestly there’s so many benefits to growing in pots I freaking love it ! Many many reasons. As a recovering addict, finding this hobby has totally saved my mental health as someone who works in a stupid ass warehouse and has no life idk what I’d do with them. I have absolutely no friends and definitely no friends that care about my plants so .. I wanna share them with someone… I have tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, watermelon, strawberries, potatoes, cauliflower, corn, black berries. I want to plant kale but I’m so late so idk ab that one, will someone tell me if kale can handle colder weather? and for flowers I have many sunflower varieties, zinnias ofc, dahlias, forget me nots, carpet of snow, daisy’s, poppy’s, marigolds, morning glory’s and some more I’m forgetting.almost everything grown from seed 🙂 I definitely was way late on planting my flowers but hoping for the best ! Everyone wish me luck! Also pls give me tips on natural pest repellents. My berries keep gettin eaten, and what are good materials to use to cover my strawberries?
