Irrigating different heights
I’m planning a drip irrigation system for my front and back yards. The system will be a loop u shape with two taps connected in the front and back yards. In my back yard I have a mixture of ground level beds and low pots/raised troughs. I’m worried that the ground level beds will get more water and the raised beds will get less. Does anyone know whether the 40cm height difference will matter if I run the entire system in a single zone? I really don’t want to run two zones if I can help it. Alternatively, I was thinking I could run a micro sprayer setup with all the heads at a consistent height to equalise the pressure gradient. My final idea was running a main line at 50cm high around my fence, with secondary pipes for each garden bed/pot section. Any advice would be appreciated before I start sinking money in.
