I got a tree on clearance and need help – Reddit Post

So I just picked up this tree for $15 and I don’t really know anything about it at all. The lady at the nursery only said “it doesn’t seem to like water so keep it dry” but I’m going to have to care for it at some point right?? Any and all advice would be appreciated!!!
