I did a thing today!

Created the raised bed with stones. I am in the process of turning what was a lawn into plant areas. Still very much a work in progress.

Behind it, I also sowed a mini wildflower meadow. Might be a bit late but I waiting for the rains. ..

I have irises coming through the strip that is barked.

Will have two clover “pathways” either side of bed and another strip under the bushes for primroses.

So still lots to do, but it’s been tough work getting the dead turf out and then because it’s clay soil have been mixing in soil improver, potting grit and horticulture sand.

Am gonna feel it tomorrow!
