How would you fill this old horse trough with daffodils? – Reddit Post

This old concrete trough is six inches deep and three feet across, around 20ft long. We want to make it a springy bed with deer resistant plants, but want daffodils and allium to be prominent. It’s already full of soil (and weeds). Zone 7b USA.

We talked about building up the walls a bit with 4x4s. This is for a friend that has the money to make the dream come true. I’m just not sure what advice to provide.
