How would I work in Horticulture as a Career in Melbourne?

As the title says, I’m deeply interested in Horticulture as a career in Melbourne. I’d like to hear the positives, negatives, what I need to study in order to get work (a friend recommended a Cert 2?), and other. I’m not interested in being convinced out of working in this field, as I’m autistic and it’s one of the few jobs I’d be able to work reliably without flaking for sensory issues. I currently already volunteer as pass time.

Any support/help is appreciated to get my foot in the door, plus any info to work towards it long term. Thank you!
