How long should I wait to plant something after removing Callery Pear? – Reddit Post

We’re going to remove a Callery Pear tree in the next few weeks (late fall) and I want to move a hydrangea to that spot since it’s not doing well in it’s current location. How long should I wait before I do that? We’re having the stump ground out but I wasn’t sure if an herbicide is also used to prevent saplings from popping up.
