How do I ensure my decades-old rose bush doesn’t die when I relocate it this week? Zone 7a – Reddit Post

Sadly, the barn is being torn down. I don’t trust that my rose bush will be safe during this process. This bush goes over the roof to the other side; it’s massive. I don’t know how deep to dig, but I imagine all of the roots are entangled in a block, as they are surrounding by concrete. Would love to hear other gardeners thoughts.
