How can I help this plant? – Reddit Post

I brought it from a plant market, no idea what plant is is though. The person told me to water it every 2 weeks. It’s developed brown patches thigh and the leaves are loosing colour. Not sure what to do 🙁 It lives on the windowsill of a south facing window.
