How are your sleeper raised beds doing?

Looking at installing some sleeper raised beds and am at bit of an impasse with regards to hardwood v softwood. How old are your beds and what’s the condition of them after X years? What did you do to mitigate rot and how well has it worked out?

I want to get this right as it looks like I’ll need 54 sleepers…
