Giant Viper’s-Bugloss, a stunning plant that I found in my Nan’s garden.

Noticed this huge plant growing in my Nan’s garden. It’s called a Giant Vipers Bugloss, or a Tower of Jewels. It must be around 4 metres tall. My late grandfather travelled a lot and used to sneak plants he liked back into the country. This one is endemic to the Canary Islands, restricted specifically to La Palma. I think it’s stunning and can’t wait to take some seeds in late August and sow some for my garden.
