Garden Update! Finally finished.. Or am I? – Reddit Post

Hey everyone. Thought I’d post a “final” update of the garden.

I brought home some proper garden soil from work and amended the poor soil beneath. Then I grabbed some brown shredded cedar mulch from work and applied at 3” thickness.

My partner decided on the shape of the little walking path for our pup through the garden. She even picked out each stone one by one and put them in.

I spent an insane amount of time on this garden. Every single sloped part of mulch that goes into the garden edge is exactly 1’ with the same angle the entire way through the garden edge. Everything is consistent in terms of mulch.

I still have to pick a beautiful centrepiece for behind the hostas and transplant some ferns from an acquaintance of mine but the general garden itself is finally complete.

The solid line was just where I ended the garden until I’m done with the patio. I’m a little delayed on the patio as I broke my finger at work.

Very proud of myself and how much time and care I put into this one.
