First time growing a luffa plant! So proud to have gotten them to this size in Zone 6a – Reddit Post

I’ve been wrapping the plant at night when temps drop below 50°F and have strings of lights to give a little extra heat too. They’ve been doing well with this routine. Question for anyone else who has grown these in a cold climate: Once the nights drop into the low 40s / high 30s, should I cut the gourds and bring them inside to dry? Trying to give them as much time on the vine as possible but don’t want to leave them out when it’s too cold!
