Filling for new worm farm + garden bed

I’ve got a worm farm arriving this week. Have purchased the Hungry Bin.

Does anyone have suggestions how I should set it up to begin with? I want to try keep everything organic with my future garden. I’m moving houses in 2months and will be aiming to build 3 garden beds.

I’ve heard filling the worm farms with coco coir is decent. Does anyone know good suppliers (in Vic) for that? I have read Bunnings quality is quite mixed and some are quite high in salt so will need to rinse off a few times.

I’ve seen Vasilis Garden has Coco Pith on sale now 5x30L for $59. Seems like good value. Would that maintain quality for 3-4months before I have my garden bed up and running? Is it a good idea to mix Coco with a potting mix and compost for the raised beds.

Any advice would be appreciated.
