Figured out what to do with my spare daff bulbs. ❤️

To say I went a little too far with my bulb purchases this year would be an understatement. I quite literally ran out of decorative pots and compost before I had all of my bulbs potted up for next year’s display. Spent some time mulling over what to do with the extra daff bulbs, as my ground is already packed full of them, so I couldn’t just put them in the flower beds. Then it hit me, if I could really scrape every last little bit out of my compost bin, I could put them in some old nursery pots and pass them out! Three birds with one stone! Find a home for the daffs, declutter my potting bench a little, and brighten some people’s day. After giving some to friends that I knew would like a pot, I made a sign and stuck the leftovers out front. Took me about and hour alone to get all that compost out from the larger chunks in the bin, i REALLY depleted it with my own pots…. but it’s been worth it to see people walking off with a smile on their face and a pot in hand. 💕
