Everything dead and mushrooms growing everywhere. What do?
Hi all.
Sorry I know nothing about gardening.
However for reasons unknown in our front garden everything bar a medium sized tree is dead. The Hedges. 2 trees in the centre of the lawn and basically everything around is dead…which seem to start in the spring. It’s certainly not because it’s now autumn/winter.
Now with all the damp weather mushrooms are springing up everywhere which I understand are feeding off the huge amount of dead organic matter.
We were intending to tear everything out next spring/summer and attempt to make things abit nicer.
However. My partner hates looking at the mushrooms though and wants me to get rid of them.
Should they be left and nature take its course or should i do something about them? Will they die out naturally or just spread as time goes on.
Advise much appreciated.
