Does tulip colour affect flowering time?

I had various tulip colours in my gardens this year but noticed the orange/pink/reds all flowered together, and then my purples and “blacks” flowered about 3-4 weeks afterwards and are now the only ones still out (second photo). I was wondering out of curiosity does anybody know why the darker colours flower later? Or is this just a coincidence 🙂
