Dicamba M and domestic pets

I’ve read on this group that a selective herbicide followed for a fertiliser is the best appproach for tackling weeds in your lawn.

This Dicamba M was recommended by the local rural supplies store. I’m hesitant to apply this as some google results say it can have a negative impact on domestic pets (we have cats and dogs that enjoy the grass). The instruction leaflet doesn’t mention this.

Has anyone used this before and have any advice for me? I can return it for something else if there is a safer product you might recommend.
