Could those be result of cross pollination? – Reddit Post
I sowed two varieties of pumpkin in my patch this year. The regular big old jack-o’-lantern and the small one, as shown on the second and third picture. I harvested couple of jack-o’-lanterns, the small wrinkly ones and the rest is a bunch of those big pear shaped pumpkins. I’m new to this crop and I’ve never seen pumpkin of this color and shape before. So I’ve been curious if there was cross pollination going on. Also we have a lot of bees around here, if it matters.
