Catmint

Planted this catmint last year, cut it back to its small crown in March this year and its grown to so much in no time, also these things are like are their own little insect sanctuary, attracts so many things, bees absolutely love it!

Anyway just a question really I heard about the Chelsea chop, but looking at mine I don’t think it’s a good idea? its got so many flowers and new buds growing. I take it I shouldn’t do it if it’s in full flower and plenty of new buds coming through.

Those with catmint any care advice please?

I water it quite a bit currently while its dry here in UK, but I do read these like dry soil, but maybe thats more suited for catmint planted in the ground.
