Cascade Palm turning yellow

It’s my first go with a palm and already I feel like I’m failing. So many leaves are turning yellow after only owning for a couple of weeks.

What I’ve done so far

Repotted into bigger pot, ensured there’s good drainage at bottom. One single heavy water. Small dose of fertiliser (slow release)

Do I just leave and hope it bounces back?
