I grow “a few” dahlia varieties, plus a bunch of other flowers. It’s my coworker’s daughter’s birthday today, and they’re having her party Saturday. His wife reached out yesterday asking if I could spare a few flowers for their decorations. She knows I put flowers out at our sidewalk for people to take, or I take buckets in to work and leave them out on the break tables… So she knows I’m happy to share.

What she doesn’t know yet is how many I cut to pass off to her husband tomorrow. I bet my buddy is gonna be thrilled when he sees how much he’s hauling home in his car tomorrow. 😈
