Bright red hydrangea – Reddit Post

This year, our hydrangea has turned a gorgeous red, not only the flowers, but also the leaves. The flowers have been white/green this year up until about 2 weeks ago, then changed to what it is now. What would have caused this? We’ve had a lot of rain and mild weather (UK) the last few weeks so not sure if it’s that? I’m not complaining though, it’s beautiful.
