Bottle gourds, upo – Reddit Post

I live in the pnw and rainy season is here. I’m surprised at how well my bottle gourds have been growing the last couple months. We usually eat them while young, so I don’t know what they look like fully matured.

I want to get seeds for next year and sharing with friends. I have a 3 on my trellis looking really well and healthy. Buuuuuut When do I cut them off and bring them in? How do I know the seeds are ready to dry and set aside?
