Autumn Fun for Little Hands: My DIY Leaf Grabber for Kids – 3D-Printed and Free
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a fun project I’ve been working on for a few years for my son. Every autumn, our garden is filled with leaves, and since he was about 2 years old, he’s wanted to help out with the leaf cleanup. Our regular leaf grabber was far too big for him, so as someone who loves 3D design and printing, I created a small, kid-friendly leaf grabber just for him. It’s been about three years, and with each season, I made little changes to improve the design. Now, I’m excited to share the final version—a leaf grabber for kids, adjustable for different sizes, and available for free to anyone interested!
This leaf grabber is perfect for small hands and makes leaf gathering a fun adventure. It’s also a great way to get kids involved in gardening, teaching them teamwork and responsibility in the process.
If you’d like, feel free to check out the model, download it, and print to your heart’s content! I’d love to hear any feedback, and I’m curious what you all think!
