At war with the blackberries in my backyard. Would laying down plywood for a year or two work? – Reddit Post

Backyard has been completely overrun by blackberries for the past few years. I’m just not able to do the recommended “remove & then consistently monitor & weed out any sign” method, due to constant traveling & some physical limitations.

Thinking about getting it all removed, and then covering the entire yard with plywood for a year or two to starve any new growth of sunlight.

Think this might work? Any thoughts?
